About Us
- Incorporated in 1972, the Pinellas County 4-H Foundation, Inc. was chartered by the State of Florida to achieve the Pinellas County 4-H Youth Development Program's goals through private support.
- Foundation is a non-profit organization serving 4-H Youth Development Programs by receiving, managing and administering private funds.
- Foundation is governed by all volunteer board of directors composed of 4-H friends, 4-H alumni, donors and individuals.
- Membership to the foundation is open to anyone in the community interested in working for the benefit of youth.
- Major funding for the foundation comes from the annual Apple-Pecan Sale
, various fundraising activities, investments and private donations.
- In addition to 4-H program support, scholarships to youth, the Foundation also provides financial assistance to 4-H leaders and teachers to enhance their education and improve their leadership abilities.
Our Mission
The mission of the Foundation is to financially support the 4-H Youth Development Programs and 4-H Clubs to foster new and innovative programs for youth and to provide scholarships to camps, 4-H Congresses, leadership forums, national and state conferences.
